.H2 "Rebooting the new system"
When you get this far, you should have a functional system. The only thing
remaining is to configure X and possibly install a \fIdesktop\fP, which we'll
look at in the next chapter. If you have got here from the install process
without rebooting, now's the time to reboot. If you have already rebooted and
are now running from the hard disk, you don't need to reboot again. Either way,
you exit the
.Command sysinstall
main menu by selecting \f(CWQuit\fP. If you are still in the initial
installation, the system will reboot. Otherwise the program just terminates.
.P
If you're rebooting, you get a question asking for confirmation. Before you
answer, remember to remove the CD-ROM\(emotherwise you'll end up
rebooting from it instead. Alternatively, you can change the BIOS configuration
to disable CD-ROM boot.
.P
After that, the system reboots. The results look much the same as before, but
this time, instead of going in to the
.Command sysinstall
menu, it continues to start up the machine and give you a login prompt. We're
done!
